What is Tremp-SAT?
Tremp-SAT is the name of the project started by five students from the Tremp high school who will take part in the CanSat competition. This project also aims to bring research and technological creation closer to Pallars students, and highlights how Pallars can also be a center for technological research.
What is CanSat?
It is a European Space Agency competition in which a small satellite the size of a can of soda can can be built to receive and transmit data. The goal is to teach aerospace technologies to the students participating. During the competition each prototype is launched 1 km into the atmosphere, and when it falls it deploys its own parachute.
in a balloon
A rocket ...
The CanSat project goes far beyond just the competition. We want to be able to launch our prototype from a hot air balloon as well, to determine if it really works. This is possible thanks to the collaboration of the Geopark, our sponsors and people like you!
La banda sonora del nostre projecte!
L'artista Manu Moratas ha compost aquesta cançó per a col·laborar en el nostre projecte. La podeu descarregar en aquest enllaç, i els diners recaptats es destinaran a finançar el Tremp-SAT!
