INS Tremp

The INS of Tremp is currently located in the center that the congregation of the Salesian Fathers had in Tremp since 1958. When they left the school became managed by the Bishopric of La Seu d'Urgell with teachers of the same Bishopric and another contracted.

In the 1985 - 1986 academic year, the Generalitat de Catalunya created a public education section in the La Lira de Tremp building and during this academic year the first BUP was taught.  The same year the Department of Education acquired the building currently occupied by the institute in the Bishopric of La Seu d'Urgell and began the BUP and FP classes in the 1986 - 1987 academic year with full public ownership, to date.

The INS of Tremp, before and now has maintained a desire to serve and revitalize the region of Pallars Jussà and the surrounding counties and continues to be an educational reference for the lands of the Pre-Pyrenees and Lleida Pyrenees.
