What is the Tremp-SAT project?

The aim of the Tremp-SAT project, a project promoted by three teachers and five high school students from second of the Institut de Tremp, is to participate in the CanSat competition. It's a competition of the European Space Agency in which all the students of each team are challenged to build a small satellite (the size of a soda can) that receives and transmits data.

All the prototypes are launched 1 km into the atmosphere, and when they fall they deploy their own parachute to be able to recover. This project envisages bringing technological research and creation closer to students from the Pallars, boosting their creativity and learning to respond to the different complications they may encounter. This project wants to defend how Pallars can also become the seat of future promoters of projects related to science and technology.

To make this project possible we need your help! Stay tuned, because soon we will start selling tickets for a raffle for a Geopark balloon flight for two on the day we test our prototype!
